1. What RoastTime is

RoastTime is a web application that helps you plan and time a roast dinner. It provides scheduling guidance based on the dishes you select and is intended as a helpful tool, not a substitute for food-safety judgement. Always use a meat thermometer and follow food-safety guidelines for your region.

2. Accounts

You sign in via Google. By doing so, you authorise us to store your display name, email address, and profile photo alongside the roast data you create. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account.

3. Free and paid features

The core product is free. Optional one-time unlocks (per roast) add extra features such as additional dishes, people tracking, and seasonal content. Purchases are non-refundable unless required by applicable law. We do not offer subscriptions.

4. Your data

You own the data you create (kitchen setup, roast plans, diner preferences). We store it in Google Firebase to provide the service. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Acceptable use

Use RoastTime for its intended purpose: planning meals. Do not attempt to interfere with the service, access other users' data, or reverse-engineer the application beyond what is permitted by law.

6. Limitation of liability

RoastTime is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Cooking involves inherent risks including burns and food-borne illness. We are not liable for any damage, injury, or loss arising from your use of the app or reliance on its timing suggestions. Your maximum aggregate liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Availability

We aim to keep RoastTime available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or discontinue features at any time. If we discontinue paid features you have already purchased, we will provide a reasonable alternative or refund.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of RoastTime after changes constitutes acceptance. For material changes, we will provide notice through the app.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
